WebWise Security, Inc.

WebWise Security, Inc., was established in 2005 to provide Web application security services and solutions.

The founding team is composed of professors and PhD students from UCSB's security research group, and they have been involved in computer security for more than fifteen years.

This premier research group has developed intrusion detection systems and analysis tools that are used world-wide. The group was ranked top in several DARPA IDS evaluations, and performed early research on detecting attacks against Web applications.

The WebWise Security team has extensive experience in penetration testing. Their customers range from small retail sites to large international banks and government agencies. Several of the founding members also made up the core team that won the DefCon "Capture The Flag" hacking competition in 2005.

WebWise Security's mission is to provide sophisticated security solutions that allow organizations to secure their Web-based applications and their networks.

WebWise Security, Inc., is a privately held company with headquarters in Santa Barbara, California.
